See this cute little girl?  Well this real
life cute little girl is going to be turned
into a cute little girl for these cute not
so little girls:)

As you can see Little Miss Miranda is a
tad too large to play with Ellowyne .. so
lets see what we can do about that:)

The first thing that she needs is a little
body .. so I chose my wool .. I'm
thinking that white is what is needed:)
Could have started with black .. but
well then that wouldn't have been
Miranda! :)
and so it beings .. the felting
process thousands and thousands (
you can actually add a few more
'and thousands' ) of sticks with
special barbed needles.

Here's hoping I get through this one
without a poke:) Hasn't happened
yet .. but hey we all have a dream:)
Then after a few hours of felting you
realize that you didn't start with enough
wool ... this little body is just that .. too
little .. well fiddle sticks:)

So a few hours more and we have one
better suited for Miranda:)  now I felt
the dimples where I will attach her little
legs:)
Now the fun .. The head and face are
my absolute favorite part to make!
More wool, more needling:)
tis coming together:)  the head gets
smaller and smaller and tighter and
tigher ...

OUCH!!  ok .. maybe the next
animal will be the one:) lol
not finished by any means but it's a
great start to a little face:)
ears to left of me ..
blood to the right...

here I am stuck in the middle with you:)
lol
was my forefinger before .. this is my
little finger, SURE am glad the needles
are razor sharp .. pain is less that way
.. he he he
adding rows and rows of llama roving ..
must add a lot more before I can even
cut Miranda's 'fur' the first time:)
Miranda's nose and mouth are clay
made by me for this piece.
hmmmm now what is
this going to be?  had
to take a fur break so
made a little something

you will get to see
later :)  he he he

adding a little gray
around Miranda's eye
and starting to trim
here and there
just couldn't help but
see what her body
and head look like
together:)
and so the trimming
really begins
a nice long fluffy tail
that will lay sweetly
over her body
oh yes .. and must
have that little spot of
black on her back.
layers of llama roving
.. so so soft!

Miranda says goodbye to the girls here
.. they are really going to miss her but I
think my 4 year old grandson, Dakota,
will miss her more .. he loved coming in
and giving her tiny hugs .. too cute:)
