we all know how to email but not everyone knows how to add links to them .. I hope this helps a
little with that:)  All email clients are different so you will have to check around yours to find
certain things and not everything will be called the same thing but I bet you have seen these and
not know what they were.

I use Mozilla Thunderbird for my email client and firefox for my browser .. You do not have to use
either of these but I will say that they are both almost the most secure client and browser you can
use:)

How to insert a link into your email:)
I know it looks long but I gave several ways:) and once you
do it a couple of times you will be able to do it with your
eyes closed:)
Go to this page
click here
Don't worry a new page will open so you will not lose your spot:)

Click in your address bar .. if by chance the line doesn't highlight then press
Crtl A
(that is the select all command for windows)
on your keyboard to highlight the line.

now press
Crtl C
(copy command for windows)











Now open an email and make the subject line ..

OT.. testing my link

You can address it to the yahoo group or to yourself .. :)  Of course if you test it to yourself you
don't have to put in the OT :) he he he:)












Now click in the message area so you see your blinking cursor

and press
Crtl V
(that is the paste command for windows)


















Now type in what you want .. sign it (never send email's to a group without signing:)
then hit send:)




How to send your ebay auctions link
(actually had to relist my one set that didn't sell just so I could do this tutorial:) lol

Bring up your auction page that you see when you click your
'view sellers other items"

I use this page to send to groups when I have something on ebay because normally I will have
more than 1 item .. it's easier than sending in a email with 3 or 4 links in it:) This page also lets
someone save you as a favorite seller if they want to.

PLUS and this is a biggie:)  your link will not break in an email:)
Click in the address bar
Ctrl A if it doesn't highlight
Ctrl C to copy
Bring up your email and address it then add your subject line,
Type what you want in the body of the email and then when you are ready to add your link make
sure your cursor is blinking where you want the link and press Ctrl V on your keyboard:)

Now lets saw that you are amazed by an auction and you to show your group.
go to the auction and click on the address bar.

if that auction link stops at the end of auction number that is great, just copy and paste it into an
email .. if it have like tons of letters after the auction number then place your cursor to the RIGHT
of the last auction number, left click and drag your mouse backwards to the http (catching it also)
.. release the mouse button and just the area you dragged across will be highlighted ..

press Ctrl C to copy it then Ctrl V in your email.

Another way to make a hot link in your email is with your own line of text and then making that line
a hot link with the link embedded in it ..

Like this

(it's a hot link so you can click it if you want and it will open in a new window:)

Somewhere in your email client there is probably a little icon that looks like 2 chain links you may
also find under one of the pull down window something that says "Insert link"

So type what you want in your email like

Check out this auction

Then highlight it by triple clicking on the line or left click and dragging across it















then go to the "insert link' that you found and copy and past the auction link into it .. if you use
this method you never have to worry about how long the link is because you made your own
small hot link:)

I do hope this helps you all in sending links to your groups:)

Add the link to your Yahoo album
to an email:)

Ok we all know that putting the link to
your album will get more to actually
look at what you have put in it then just
sending in an email that says .. "Hey I
added pictures to my album!"

So lets add that link:)

After making your album make sure
you are at the page that shows only
what is in YOUR album:)

Go to the address bar and highlight
the link .. then Ctrl C .. go to your
email that you are typing to the group
and type what you want then when you
are ready to add your link press Ctrl V

then hit send .. There:) now they have
instant access to your album:)
MAKE YOUR OWN SMALL HOT LINK:)
Practice with a silly link:)
